Install the New Roof

  3. Install the roofing materials. If they are shingles, this starts at the bottom and the shingles are layered downward to direct water flow toward the ground. The shingles are attached using a nail gun. Metal roofing will be installed in sheets and attached with screws of the same material. This is the most time-consuming part of the project.

  7. Inspection and Site Cleanup. The site supervisor will inspect the entire roof and make sure everything is securely and correctly installed.
